Please explain why Ugly Shoes are Popular

If it's ugly shoes that you like, there is no limit in the footwear styles that refuse to fail. Tops on my list are: Uggs in the winter, Crocs in the summer, boat shoes, and birkenstocks. Just don't do it. They are ugly, ugly, ugly.
