Grey Boots look so GREY and Dingy!

SLUSH! GREY SKIES! GREY BOOTS? 

Everything is sooooo dirty and drab that seeing colorful boots just brighten my day. The day is so grey that brown and black even look cheerful!

We spend hundreds of dollars on new boots, how in our right minds can we pick grey? They look dingy the first time on and do not age well.

This is my campaign, NO GREY BOOTS IN FEBRUARY! Please help me spread the word. Don't be a fashion fatality :( wear anything but grey boots. Oh how I wish this winter would end today. Oh how sick I am of the snow. Oh please take me to the Bahamas!!!!!!

Over-the-knee boots are hot this season

When it comes to boots, over-the-knee is in. But are OTK boots so functional?


On the positive they look great with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, short dresses.


They are trendy and so in fashion. Runway supermodels strut in them, all the fashion magazines are showing them but is the overall look of these boots really functional? Would you wear over knee boots all day in a conservative office? How about to an elegant dinner? And remember a good pair are expensive, can be more expensive than shorter more functional boots.


My verdict? They are just not versatile enough for my budget. I love boots. Actually, I love any kind of footwear LOL but I don't think a new pair of OTK boots will be taking residence in my shoe closet this Fall.
